I know this is an old post but...
Do either of the latest 2012 Tuners allow you to raise your up-shift points?
I've heard it may still be buggy on the 2012 canned tunes, not sure if its been solved.

I had a non+ model Bully Dog GT, Diablo Trinity and Superchips Cortex on my 2010 Hemi a couple years ago
and the only one to break out of the 5900rpm up-shift range was the Diablo at 6200 rpm. (stock is 5600 I believe)

It made a difference of about 3 tenths on two different 10' Hemi Rams (93 Octane Tune with 94 Octane fuel)
and for me personally, the difference between a 14.3 and a 13.9 slip at the track. (1/4 mile at 2500' DA)
(Heavier RCSB 4x4 with shitty 3.55 gears)

Maxing the Throttle Booster and max 6200 shift points turned my Trinity to Beast Mode with the canned 93 tune and 94 octane fuel.

If you still have the Trinity you need to tweak it a bit to get the most out its full potential
especially if you choose not to get a custom tune.

[EDIT NOTE] ...thanks for the Head's up on this Thread Chris b.
