Well I'm sad. It was worth a try and I shouldn't have to worry about the EGR ever again but it didn't change the noise one bit. Time to get ready for work. I'm going to start a new thread on the noise when I get to work. I''ll link it here when I do.

I'm seriously second guessing the intake now. When I think about what I want out of my truck I don't really think about performance. I mean, don't get me wrong, the more performance the better. But what I really want is to get this noise stopped and get my power seat fixed. The intake isn't going to fix either of those and I very seriously doubt the noise it creates is going to muffle the exhaust leak/tick noise. I'm seriously leaning towards just putting the money towards actually fixing those two problems instead of trying to put a band aid on it.

Anyone on the forumz interested in this intake? If you are I will put you in contact with the seller. It's a great deal and I hate to see no one be able to take advantage of it.
