The blame game started, but he took responsibility for not keeping me in the loop. He took me to the parts dept and found that the part was here.
Why couldn't they have told me something to prevent me from having to show up with part in hand mad wanting answers?
Anyway we agreed to have the correct hitch installed on Monday at no charge to me. So this is coming to a good end, but the sales guy learned a lesson today about following up with his customers. This could have gone bad for him as his survey is still pending its arrival.
Sometimes you just have to spell it out for them.
