Default MPG is garbage, who knew with a 5.7L Hemi?

Now lets start by saying I'm not complaining, I bought this truck because I love the power and everything that comes with it. Just wondering if anyone else has any good tips for improving my MPG.

I got a 2007 5.7L v8 pretty much stock with a KNN cold air intake and I was gettin just about 9-10mpg in the city. I just installed a 18" body Magnaflow 3" intake with dual 2.5" outs, got a nice sound to it, and noticed my MPG at about 12.

Any other small changes or suggestions? I do got a bit of a lead foot but I'm workin on that, thanks in advance.
