I just did this about a month ago. First you just pull off the rubber/plastic protector that is attached around the radiator. Once you do that then you'll be able to see the 4 screws that hold the grill in place. Take out those screws and then pull towards you and the whole unit comes out in one piece. The bottom is held in with flat plastic plugs. If you don't pull towards you they will break off. Once out, you can then pull the mesh part off in on piece and then paint away.
