My experience was different- I went the typical fishing line method to remove the badge and then fingers to painstakingly remove all of the foam and glue. pita for sure!
But I saved 1/2 the job for the next day. I got up early - it was cold in the morning and I went to work. to my surprise the line got between the badge and tape a little easier than when it was warm. Then I was left with the black letter shaped residue in almost perfect shape- I grabbed an edge and the entire letters peeled right off. I was stunned! What took an hour the day before took less than ten minutes the next day. You still need to finish it up with Goo Gone and a light wax coat.
My results not guaranteed but you all might want to try the cold day method- you can always heat it up with a hair dryer if it does not work. BTW- a cold day in California is a bone chilling 48 HA!
