well said advice. hids can be a simple, easy solution for poor light output. DEFINITELY aim them down a touch, just for the sake of other drivers.

if you find your really enjoying the hid setup, and want more out of the system... projector retrofitting is an upgrade option for your lights. it's a bit more work than what my friend Asur mentioned, but certainly well worth it. While your browsing The Retrofit Source for the hids he mentioned, just take a look at the retrofit section.
