like everyone I noticed more with my headers stall and shorter tires then anything else. my cold air felt like it slowed me down but when I ran at the track with it I went from a 11.53-11.39 1,000ft track. my truck "stock" with slip in k&n muffler delete 180t stat went 13.97 @ 100 1/4 mile now it has been 13.14@100
and as I have said before I was having issues with my truck pulling on the big end due to being almost two qts low of trans fluid after my stall swap. my truck had 12.90s in it that night. I have since added moes 87mm tb and some wheels for my slicks that are 50 lbs lighter. I went 10.90@ 92 in 1000 ft few weeks ago with it bad! humid. o yea I added a 150 shot nitrous express too
im going after the stock block record now!
and if anyone is wondering these trucks love the gas! next up is 4.56 gears custom tune and a 9.5 inch 32-3400 circle d. my buddy went from a 12 inch 2800 stall to a 10 inch 3500 and we weighed the two the 10 inch was right at 30 lbs lighter! both full of fluid. it wraps up a lot faster now.
