I've had my Clamped-On Magnaflow CatBack going on 4 years now,
with zero issues.

Dropped it once for an Edge Torque Converter install,
a year later again for a header install, and will be dropping it yet again for a built transmission install when I do my RIPP supercharger install next month.

To cut and re-weld all that sh!t every time would have been a major PITA
...and a total waste of time money and resources with near zero benefit.

My 16869 on my 10' Hemi was only 5 clamps...how much does a shop charge for 5 welds?
The beauty of the CatBack system is that you can DIY with basic hand tools in your own driveway.

If you have to pay someone to weld it all in you are better off just replacing the muffler for $200
