I just traded my 11 ram 1500 w/4.7 for a 13 ram outdoorsman QC w 5.7 & 3:92 L.S. All I can say is wow what a difference. I have tried 87 and 93 octane I notice quite a difference in performance between the 2. I have a theory maybe someone else is thinking the same, power programers are a waste of money just like "cold air intakes" I believe the factory ECM adjust the timing based on octane just as much as a $500 programer will on their 93 octane setting. I do recognize the fact that they are useful if you need to read codes calibrate for larger dia. tires or change you shift calibration. I have searched for a side by side unbiased comparison but have found nothing. wouldnt you think there would be something on youtube if they were the real deal? I see they have proven cold air intakes to be hogwash lets see how programmers work.
