I just bought my first RAM, 2009 1500 Sport, I'm picking it up on Monday from Toronto. I had my heart set on a new 2013 sport model but due to being a new resident in Canada I could not qualify for finance so had to buy used.

I plan on "updating" my truck to make it look more like a 2013 Sport spec. My list is looking like this so far:

(1) Sports hood, still looking for best place to find a direct fit.

Most places you will find it primed and ready for paint, you will have to get it color matched. Check out these guys

(2) 2013 sport wheels & tyres, seen these on ebay regularly.

Wheels are a personnel choice, you should pickup what you like the most, but yes the new 2013 wheels are nice.

(3) New headlights, looking for suggestions for smoked units that best resemble the new sport ones.

Check out Retroshop

(4) GPS unit, read lots about these on forum, would like backup camera, DVD, maybe hard-drive.

You can find some great compatible head units, check out Clarion's site

(5) Parking sensors

I installed the Mopar kit that I got off ebay, works great

I would like any views from you guys on this, and if anyone's done something similar. Any suggestions on best places to purchase these items (most I've seen on Amazon). I'm hoping to get as "direct fit" as possible so I can do most of this myself.

Looking forward to contributing lots to the forum in the future . . .

Hope this helps
