Default Seeking Info on Hose Water Shut-Off Valve

I find at times when washing our vehicles that running water from the hose without a spray nozzle would be helpful and was looking at getting a shut off valve to turn the water off on and on as needed. Griots Garage & Adams both sell them at approximately $60.00, I have also seen them at Home Depot for approximately $3.00. So the question becomes why such a steep price difference in essentially the same device? Am I missing something and are those former examples worth the cost difference? Thanks.
