A lot believe Synthetic is over rated, especially nowadays with the increased quality etc of regular Dino oils.

In my opinion, and this is strictly my opinion, unless you don't tow/haul a lot, don't live in an extreme hot or cold climate and change your oil more than once a year (depending on mileage) then synthetic really isn't required anymore.

Also, not sure how many actually Manu's of oil still use 100% pure synthetic, but I doubt it is anymore than 2, maybe 3 as most now are just a more refined dino oil referred to as Type 3 oils.

They are still great oils, but most are overpriced based on trickery by the oil manu's fooling consumers into thinking they are 100% pure synthetic.
