Default For the building contractors, roofers and anyone who may know

Hey folks,

I bought an apartment house is Los Angeles several years back, The previous owner intalled a new roof several years back, but forgot to intall the drip edge behind the house. The eave is damaged and needs repair, but im unsure of the extent of the damage. From the 2nd floor it looks like severe paint chipping on the wood.

My question. The house is two stories with attic space, and a full basement. Now the home is located on a hill which adds considerable height to the rear of the building. The roof probably stands a little more that three stories from the rear. I would say about 36-40ft from the ground outside to the top.

How can I safely get to the roof. Im thinking of renting a mobile scaffold, mechanical crane, scissor lift or what might you suggest?

Im looking for cost effective and safety. Thank you.
