Default 88 D100 Fuel line from filter to carb question

I was trying to get the carb removed from my 88 D100 5.9L 360 and stripped the "flare fitting-tube nut." Now that I have the proper tool for the job (flare nut wrench) I can't get it off. I thought, before ruining it further, I should to get the replacement part and ran into another issue. How do I replace the fuel line from the fuel filter to the carb? If the nut is stripped it doesn't look like I can just replace that part, as the line is flared at the nut to hold it on. I suppose I could buy all the tools and a new fuel line and bend it all myself to match. Is there an easier way?
