Ya exactly, I fully agree with you Andrew. With ICBC you get a 5% discount for every year of safe driving. So I'm at 20% right now. I think you max out a 43% so once I'm 25 I'll be there (provided I don't have any accidents).

It just kind of sucks that because of other people my age getting into accidents and such it ends up making my rates higher as well just because of my age group rather than how safe or good I drive.

But ya, at $237 a month here I'm not too worried about it. It's just another cost. I know some people that have got into accidents and have surcharges now who are paying the same amount I pay for 1 year of insurance for only 3 months on a vehicle that's 15 years old. Now that's ridiculous!!
