With today's technology, using an argument not to buy a truck or to get upset about it not having a CD player is like getting upset that the new computers don't have 3.5" floppy drives anymore or that new Wranglers don't have leaf springs. Technology is constantly evolving and those who fight it simply get left behind. I see it everyday at work, being a manager of engineers and designers, that some of the older folks resist the advancement of technology and quickly fall behind. It is sad because they often have so much experience and knowledge to share with the younger people, but they are too stubborn to change. It's the older, experienced folks that stay current with technology that are the best at what they do.

The technology in the RAM is pretty advanced and if that upsets someone, they should grab their Walkman from 1990 and plug in into the RAM's receiver with a mini jack. CD's are archaic, dated, don't hold much music, and add danger to drivers when you are fishing around trying to change one out for another.

There are many, many ways to rip CD's to a flash drive that are free and you can put dozens and dozens of CD's on a flash drive. A single flash drive will hold what a dozen CD changers will and cost one tenth as much.
