Default Within a brand

Since joining this site I've learned so many things regarding needs (wants are a separate issue). I've been Dodge brand since 66 with my first D100 with a 318 (that $400 truck made me about $3,800), so I know I'm a Dodge brand.

I got married to a 5.9 magnum 4x4 long ago (it stuck me on having a 4x4 with umph). I raised it a level due to towing needs and chose a Cummins diesel 5.9 (no regrets).

However, I've been listening, asking, observing and developing an appreciation for Hemi's. Right now it's tempered, since current needs are met. But on a case by case basis you Hemi guys can make a point (at least with me and the 1/2 tons). It's 2500 and above I struggle with.

However being biased to Dodge there's no wrong choice. I took a trip to Etown KY today in the diesel and soaked in every Dodge PU I encountered. Believe it or not, many Hemi's 1500's & 2500's carrying a load were evident. I can take a wake up call, even though at 2500 and above I'm Cummins biased.

Don't quit teaching. Thanks team................R...
