With Flowmaster that is generally a fair assumption but not always correct. More so up in the higher numbers. But yes, Super 10's are louder than Super 40's which are louder than a 50 Series. Check out flowmaster's website. They have a chart showing all their mufflers with how loud they are and their tone.
