Very true on the Cummins! BUT ONLY IF!, the truck around that Cummins is kept as good as the engine in it. My Pops went to test drive a 2012 2500 Cummins and had his 99 Cummins 3/4ton appraised. The dealer only offered 5K for it.
Sure it still runs great BUT with over 300000 miles, and a smokers vehicle along with the infamous dash cracked, thats all they would offer.
