So I am new to forums, obviously, bought a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab, 4x4, slt, and I subsequently bought a new travel trailer, dry weight is on 4700 lbs, fully loaded, should I choose to do so is 7600 lbs, way above my tow rating, I live at Altitude, so a lot of climbing is involved, I installed an Air Raid CAI, also Hypertech Max Energy Programmer, but I am sure I didnt install the correct values for everything, my truck has the power to pull the 6000+ we are actually hauling, but always looking for a little more. BTW did not plan on buying this trailer, I succumbed to a higher authority, my wife.
