Default 4-wheel ABS Inductor "gear" on rotors

I received new Brembo rotors for my 1500 Dually w/o the gear on the inside for the ABS. Can the gear on the old rotor be pulled and installed on the new rotor? The new rotor is machined for the gear. Side note, I currently get ABS light on the panel almost constantly. Has anyone attempted this swap before?
