I am not sure the axle nuts are torqued down correctly. A 3/4 drive torque wrench capable of 185 ft-lbs runs about $700 bux. I can run it by a shop and throw them a bit of money to check the torques, i guess. Good thought on the bad hub assembly. I still have the old ones and they seemed fine so presumably I could put them back on one at a time to check and isolate the problem and if the noise persists then that could push me back toward poor torque down of either the hub or axle nut. Thx.
