I hear ya, lost a few teeth myself with 4.56's in my Jeeps
and that's the one install I always leave to the experts.

There's a lot less room for error when you have fewer teeth engaged,
and the lower your ratio drops the smaller the pinion diameter gets,
...I've seen Dana 5.38's that looked like a thimble compared to stock 3.55's lol
