We do torque manage the engine (momentarily reduce engine torque) during the last half of power-on upshifts, including the 1-2. Your dealer should be able to monitor the amount of torque reduction using their scan tool (this variable is called Delta Torque and is in Nm). They can also monitor the actual engine torque (called Actual Torque [in Nm] or Engine Torque [in ft-lbs]). They can also monitor the trans input torque (called Turbine Torque I-Gear and is in ft-lbs). So they could drive with you and record these values, then show you the actual amount of torque reduction, and how long it lasts for (typically a few hundred milliseconds). They could also see if they are in line with other similar trucks.
