+1 on the baggie deal. I learned it changing the oil on my Cummins. Double gallon sized for that filter. For the Hemi a standard sized, freezer thickness ziplock will do. But be sure the oil has cooled a bit. I have had it leak right out of the bottom when I removed the filter immediately following shut down. (Yes, I laughed at the time because it was so stupid of me ) It's not really the heat alone, but the heat combined with the weight of the filter.
