The question may be moot. Have you located any
13's equipped the way you need? Ram has been selling out rapidly depleting choices fast.
Guys are getting about $7500 off list on the 13's from what I have seen. You can get $4K+ off the '14's plus any small rebates. I have not seen any major Ram rebates offered on Heavy trucks. I would say the difference is about $3,500 to get a left over BUT there is NO FREE LUNCH. That savings evaporates when you recognize that the '13 is one year old and has depreciated plenty more than a comparable '14 the second you buy it.
See whatever changes and improvements were made for the features you need and see if that helps you decide if there is advantage to go with '13 or '14. For example, I believe the '14 has the improved GPS
