your mileage MAY vary

my 2009 HEMI w/ 5 speed, weighed 5300 pounds before i got in it & drove it off the dealers lot
it has the 3.55 rear end

it now weighs 6300 pounds with me in it & another 180 pounds if i fill my auxiliary gas tank
I now have 95,000 miles on it

i get 15.6 MPG Highway when it is set up like this

i get 17.4 mpg when it is set up like this

when i go on vacation, i take most of the excess weight off & it looks like this & i see 19 & 20 MPG

this is in the bed all of the time

by the way, i don't use the top gear when i am in places where there are Stop signs & traffic lights
I do use Cruise Control on the highway
When gas prices are below $4 a gallon for mid grade, that is what i use

so YES, your mileage may vary
