I have a 4x4 V6 pentastar if the makes any MPG savings difference... mixed driving I get 19.5 mpg avg
As far as MPG goes. Yes, you are increasing the aerodynamics of your truck by installing a tonneau cover which should, theoretically, increase your MPG. However, the added weight of the tonneau cover is going to eliminate most, if not all, of your MPG gains.
As the previous commentators have mentioned, maybe a .5 or 1 MPG increase in mileage. That's the best you can hope for.
