I agree with you that you get what you pay for but for the price you cant beat it... i dont know what you got but the samples i got in the mail were very tough, it is very rubbery but i could not tear it nor put a key through it. i coated my whole truck with it and im pleased with it. way better than the other diy liners that go on paper thin.

Line-x is a harder surface vs this is more of a rubbery finish which worked well for the outside of my truck.

Line-x may be a little better but for the price... dont believe its worth 7 times more expensive than the scorpion. so if you have the money to blow go with Line-x or if you are like me and like a good product for a reasonable price id suggest goin with scorpion. just my opinion and i do have both on my truck
