The second incident at the dealership they actually told me that the it will be getting a new bed side, bumper, and taillight. It creased in weird places and I like the idea of new versus repair. Their insurance will pay for this.

if they have not put a bed skin on it yet. Ask them to panel bond everything except the area along the tail lamp and tailgate. The panel bond works much better at keeping rust at bay. when you weld on the new skin it will burn away the factory primer. These places are imposable to get to and undercoat.
