Never understood this argument. 400hp engine accelerating the truck is fine but truck resting on the gear is "a lot of stress"????
May be we all should be putting wheel chocks under our wheels because if truck rolls, it will put a lot of stress on our parking brakes too.

Now, rolling with the e-brake engaged like OP is a different story, can't say I haven't done this once or twice
