May be we all should be putting wheel chocks under our wheels because if truck rolls, it will put a lot of stress on our parking brakes too.
You don't know how the transmission works, and what a parking prawl is. This pin is tiny comparatively and putting a lot of stress on it over years can cause it to break and send your vehicle rolling. Or if your vehicle gets hit it will break.

I'm sure you've heard people put it in park, let off the brake, and the car rolls a couple inches then stops and you hear a terrible click/clank noise. That's the stress on the parking prawl. One day it won't stop rolling.
