But when I had my 2006 Titan 4x4 with 6" lift and 35" Nitto Muds, I only averaged 8mpg towing 6000lbs at 65mph.
No head wind that I could tell and appeared to be flat. Yes I have tried the manual shift mode and I've tried both the tow/haul mode as well as normal. Yeah I know that towing at 75 will make my mpg's disappear and I was doing that speed, initially, to pass some jack ass who thought getting on the freeway at 40 was ok to merge into traffic. I held it there to see if I could get 5th and be high enough in the rpms that perhaps it would stay there. My normal towing speed is 55-65 on the freeway and highway and I never seem to see 5th gear
