Default Nerf bar question 2002 Quadcab

Hello everyone need some thoughts and or opinions here!
I just purchased some oem 3" step bars from a friend
For my 2002 quadcab. Truck they came off of was sold and my friend
Thought it was an '08 but I think it was an '09. Got the brackets and the bars
Bolted on although on an '02 there were no
Hex holes below the holes that the T bolts
Fit but I made it work and the brace. Bolted
Up tight so the front is solid. My problem is with the rear- the bracket is held on
By one T bolt and there is no brace to bolt to
The undercarriage like the front and I am
Uncomfortable with it because if I step back
There I can see a slight give in the whole bar.
I need to fabricate a brace but what's funny is the
Undercarriage bolt doesn't fall straight in line with
The bracket so I may have to bolt it to the frame which I don't want to go
Drilling holes in if not necessary. Can't get a kit for these bars because they
Stop short just after the 90 degree bend so a different set
Of bars would be in order if I can't fabricate a brace which I am trying to
Avoid. So does anyone have any recommendations? I know I should have examined the bracket situation closer but I am so close to a fix to give up! Any advice or thoughts will be much appreciated!
