What the f**k? Damn man. What did you not change the oil for half a year or something? It takes a lot of abuse to have to replace the lifters, pushrods and rockers. Unless that MDS caused an issue where the internals didn't match up to the RPM.

My '03 Ram 1500 is my first Dodge truck too. My '08 Ram 3500 is my second. I'd buy another '03-'05 Ram 1500, or maybe a 2009+ Ram 1500. I would never buy another Ram 3500 Cummins though. 2011+ Powerstroke all the way when it comes to diesel.
