They recommended a 3000 mile change cycle. I'll probably go synthetic next time and do a longer change cycle then that though.
Sounds like a service department trying to make some extra money in my opinion! Ask the service manager about the recommended intervals specified in the owner's manual? Does he think that's inaccurate as well?
