Default Gear indicator doesn't work in dash 2001 Ram 2500

I pulled dash and dropped steering column today and somehow messed up the little do dad that tells you what gear your in. I think I have all the pieces and tried putting it back together and then noticed a little wire spring thing on the ground but I don't know how it goes on.

Anyone have a picture of how it goes on?

It would be a huge help if someone could take the cover off for the steering column and send me a picture of the gear selector thing that connects on the side.
