I understand that also . Never been a lover of the manual hubs . When you get yourself in a situation and you need to put it in 4x4 , you have to get out , climb through the snow or mud , lock in the hubs , then do your thing . I like being able to just pull the lever and go . Seems like everytime you need them , their broken anyway . Other than the housings and slide clutch , most of it is plastic . I've done alots of repairs on manual hubs . I think I just threw my box of spare parts away .
