The guy that did the install, took a regular cb external speaker, removed the box part of it, exposing the speaker itself. Then he dropped the overhead liner, drilled a hole through the roof for the Wilson Antenna, ( i couldn't watch that part ), he then dropped the overhead console & cut a circular hole into the back slope of the console just large enough to fit the external speaker into. Then he ran the wiring for both, he test fitted the overhead liner, figured out where the speaker was, he then stripped the foam backing from the liner, just where the speaker was. When he reattached the liner, you could hardly notice that the liner had ever been dropped & there is no distortion in the sound. If you look hard, it is the dark spot at the rear of the console liner
