I suspect you have an inoperative UD clutch. To get 1st gear, you need UD for the input, and either LR or the overrunning clutch (ORC) for the reaction. We know LR works (since Reverse is OK), so apparently UD is bad.

Sorry for the R thing on that post ,as u know from before the whole transmission new from a new 2012 truck done 21000Kmile , i ll check if there is code but no check engine light on dash
