this is just a guess, a friend just did his '04 ram twice, it took 8 hours the first time
you may need to drop the steering wheel, lay it on the seat, lay the dash down on it, unbolt the heater from inside & then outside, R & R the heater core, reinstall everything

i'm sure one of the other members will tell you for sure
