Default Ok dudes... and dudettes

I have a 95 2500 V10... I just noticed this the past couple days.... When i make a turn the steering fells like it is intermittent... when i let the wheel go to return back to normal straight, it doesn't go back smoothly. kind of a stop, start kind of feeling. The 4wd works as i have used it a couple times. Could the weird steering feel be because of a hub not disengaging?

On a second note, the truck has a horrible shimmy from 50 to 75....the normal driving range. i just had the truck aligned and new tires put on it, all balanced and everything. Could this also be from a hub not disengaging?

im used to the hubs you have to get out and kick in.. i have an old 68 Chevy with manual steering and when i use 4wd in it the steering does the same kind of thing....

Let me kno what you guys and gals think....thanks in advance..Kevin
