Default Bumper's Rusting

Hey guys just thought I'd share something.

My old 2004 SLT Crome bumper had the same problem.
My new 2009 SLT crome bumper = rusty!! I'm pretty picky about cleaning my truck. it gets washed quite frequently.

I work for a company that has 90% Dodge Ram's as fleet vehicles. Saw this post and I thought I'd go do a random survey of the fleet.

I picked a good day. Most of the guys were in the office today for a meeting and there was at least 25 Ram's in the parking lot. 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 (1500, 2500) models you name a year of a dodge ram it was there.

100% of them had a rusty crome bumper

I was thinking of taking a picture and send it Chrysler. Think it's safe to say that the Crome used is not top quality.

If you have an SLT crome bumper i suggest stock up on the Mother's polish and keep the crome shinny and clean cuz it's gonna rust no matter what.
