Default 6" lift, 35" tires.. Should i?

OK for the longest time I've wanted to lift my truck.. But money has been an issue. Now I'm to the point were i am able to do this if i wanted to. But my issue is do i want to spend a lot of money on my truck, or buy a newer one. Here are all the specs and info!

My truck is a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, SLT 2wd. It has about 91,500 miles on it and it has the 4.7L V8.

There are some mechanical problems that need to also be repaired. (Front seal leak, Radiator leak, left turning knuckle, and tranny seal) all about $1800 total. But only the first 2 need to be done as soon as possible.

Work that i want to get done on it

All around window tinting

All around spending $4500 just for upgrades.

Im asking if you think its worth it to keep my truck and keep her going and modded up. Or settle for a stock newer car or truck.

Please let me know what you think, i want to do something this month.
