I would think you might be better off going with a set of 4.10's . You haven't changed the gearing span enough for me to spend that kind of money and not see a substantial increase in performance . Especially if you change tire size .
I agree 100%!!! 3.55 to 3.92 isn't much of a change at all.
As far as cost, the 4WD is what's making it so expensive,,, twice as much labor and parts as a 2WD,,,
