Come home, take bolt out of oil pan, let drain, change oil filter, replug bolt, fill with clean fresh oil, done. 30 minutes of my time and 1/5 of what you spend. Seriously though, what are they putting in your oil?
He could possibly be taking it into a shop and paying for the oil change....which where i work after all the tax and enviromental fees come through is about $50...many people also choose synthetic for their vehicle aswell...not very cheap and that can easily make one oil change cost upwards of $100...Hemis take around 6.6L of oil and at around $14 a liter for synthetic it makes sense!
