01 1500 5.9 4x4 46re

Mine was getting stuck in second gear when accelarating...
It was the shift solonoid.

Upon replacing this, the truck exposes the real issues... lock up issues, and also not returning to first at lights. After running a pressure test, the front pump is bad.

Which in turn has stretched out the bands and took out the torque converter and the valve body with it.

So here comes the rebuild!

So here is my question.........
The factory tranny lines run straight to the auxillary cooler, and back to the tranny.
They completly bypass the radiator. (the factory tranny cooler is a monster)

Is this normal? Every other thread i can find only talks about the lines going through the radiator at some point.....

Please help shed some light!!!!
