the ride is the same, and for the removal of the overload spring. step 1 put a jack under the rear end right under the shock on the axle and jack the truck up. also put a jack stand under the frame between the rear wheel and front door. step 2 take the wheel off and remove the u-bolts,then you have to remove the center bolt that holds all the leaf springs together. to remove that bolt you might have to lower the jack the whole way down(make sure your jack stand is under the frame). step 3 remove the overload spring which is the very bottom one, little prying and wiggling. step 4 put the rear end back together and do the same on the other side. hope this helps srtsir.
