Default IAT sensor removal

I sort of have a similar discussion going on the 4.7l board but I kind of wanted to expand the question.

I'm in the middle of putting in a DIY CAI. I'm trying to figure out how to remove the IAT sensor from the existing intake (the edge of the airhat in this case). I was told that it has a barb that hold it in place, and you just need to carefully wiggle it lose, but I'm starting to doubt that. I noticed that the edge of the opening it sticks into has an arrow imprinted in the plastic the points clockwise. There is also a plastic tab that on the IAT that seems to have been turned clockwise into a position just clockwise of a ramp in the edge of the housing that locks it in place. I also can't rotate the IAT in either direction.

All of this has me thinking that the IAT on the gen4 must in fact not just be pressed into place and heald by a barbed flange, but rather have some sort of locking mechanism that allows it to be twisted into place.

Has anyone installed a DIY or aftermarket CAI on a generation 4 ram? How did you remove the IAT to move it to the CAI? This should be the last detail I need to make this conversion. Any help is appreciated.
